Sweet Hina dolls

In Japan, Hina doll's day is celebrated on March 3. During this month, in the historical town of Arimatsu, hina dolls are beautifuly displayed not only in the traditional form, but also, outside buildings, in windows and in roofs.These cute "models" are displaying traditional shibori textiles (tied-dyed cotton cloth) of Arimatsu. This place is so charming, it is like traveling in time, a lovely japanese couple kindly guided me during this back to the Edo period trip :D
