We watched this huge herd trundle past in dusty slow motion for about an hour. We saw the big male leading them and then they just kept coming. Our guide estimation of kept going up until it reached 1,500. After an hour we had to go but they were still coming, obscured by a big dust cloud way in the distance. It was impossible to capture the enormous stately grandeur of the scene even with a fisheye lens and panorama.
