Former station on the long-defunct Stamford and Essendine Railway, and surprisingly well preserved considering it closed to passengers in 1929. This photo was taken shortly before it was due to be dismantled to make way for the A47 upgrade and moved to a new home at Peterborough's station on the Nene Valley Railway.
