Taken during a presentation of Rogue Flash Benders.
My impression of the flash benders is that they seem well suited for small spaces. At only about a foot square, their size will certainly limit the closeness of the light and thus the softness. I can see them being very useful as a corner light for a wedding where an umbrella may be too big for safety reasons and a bare flash is just too harsh. They won't replace a studio soft box when one can be used.
Lighting: SB910 camera left with Rogue grid spot and 1/4 cto, 1/8th power at 6 feet. SB910 camera right with grid spot and 1/4 cto 90 degrees out from model at 1/8th power at 6 feet. both triggered with Pocket Wizard Plus II.
