Spring came very late this year and significant snow pack hung on well into April. By mid-May, prodigious rainfall arrived, adding to ground that was still quite saturated from a wet growing season in 2019. The heavy rainfall event pictured here dropped another 40 to 60 millimetres of rain on top of already soaked terrain.
