Despite it being stormy and having some cool breaks in the clouds throughout the day, I jumped on my bike with low expectations. Sunset was approaching but the sky was bland. I went down a dead end road and didn't see anything worth shooting so turned around and just kept going down a road with not many people on it. The sky didn't look good the whole time. I got to this bend though, right before I was about to head back and as I rounded the corner I came up this. The sky just opened up and it looked beautiful. I was like a giddy little school girl and just ran around shooting. This image is actually two photos merged. I spent a lot of time with my friend, Brian Martin, trying to figure out what to do with this, how to crop it, ect. There were a lot of options.
