Jacket

I didn't want to start the jacket from scratch as I don't have a sewing machine and it would take too long to handstitch everything. After looking around the shops, the closest thing I could find was this army shirt from Camden Market's military store. It cost 7 pounds and was considerably cheaper than buying a jacket which looked better. I decided to modify it instead. This involved:

- removing the zip

- removing the velcro strip

- cutting the sleeves down to elbow-length

- taking in the jacket as it was too large

- shortening the jacket as it was too long.
