Singular

Single speed Parisien.

Single Speed Blues by Fraser Kitt

I’ve got this grin

There’s drool running down my chin

Can’t change the gear I’m in

I got cycling under my skin

I’ve got those Blues

Those old time single speed blues

From the hair on my back down to my cycle shoes

Turning 72 gear inches

The pumps I’m in pinches

My legs spinning like fast

Ripping down these streets is a blast

This cycling singularly

It sure does pleasure me

I’m turning blue

This bike is steel

It has that feel

I’m fixated on a beer

There’s gotta be a bar around here?

Just pop up over the gutter

Watch that old timer splutter

He’s got the blues, those single speed blues

San Francisco, London, there doing it in Paris too

Spinning that single gear

Singing those single speed blues

They’re fixated and a spinning

There pumping and a grinning

There chain is blue they’re pushing one gear too

Pushing that old single speed blues
