Let's Get it On - Mac/PC Love
Part of my At Last campaign for Acrobat.com class project.
Concept / Art Direction / CopyRobin Johnson
The purpose of this campaign is to announce Adobe’s new online service, Acrobat.com. One of the great things about this service is that it works the same for PC and Mac users, while producing identical results. Often applications claim to produce similar results on the two platforms, but in reality the output and usability are not quite the same. I wanted to promote the cross-platform functionality of Acrobat.com and the Acrobat application as a response to the Mac vs. PC debates that continue to rage. By using acrobat.com, teams can work together, no matter where they are or which platform they use, to create something that can be used and viewed by all. According to the Adobe web site, “Adobe revolutionizes how the world engages with ideas and information.” Playing on the word “engage,” my concept is to show Mac and PC working together -- as a couple, compatible and in sync in every way. There’s no contest or competition between them because either or both can work happily together.
Tools: PC, Fireworks, Photoshop
