comparison of impact and g-2 refills

the widely used pilot g-2 0.38mm ultra fine refill lg2rf-8uf/bls-g2-38 above does not work properly in this pen as it should

 

the uni-ball impact 1.0mm bold refill umr-10 is shaved on the front and rear to fit into the unusual pen body coincidentally at approximately the proper depth and fits snugly without rattling
