I was on the trip and had a great day with perfect weather for the time of the year. The Jubilee was used on the final leg from Carnforth to Crewe because of problems with the Duchess of Sutherland which was restricted to 60 mph throughout her legs of the journey (we were told she had a hot box on the trailing axle).
