SPIRIT OF FRIENDSHIP

This work is dedicated to all of you my wonderful Flickr friends. Not being able to visit your lovely streams on regular basis is so embarrassing me that I do apologize for it. I only find refuge in not having to give excuses for I think you all know about the kind of life I’m leading in Iraq. It’s none of my intentions to beg sympathy or to dwell on negative feelings but I have to say it when the alternatives are few if any! At the same time I love to honestly thank you, ALL OF YOU, for all your precious encouragement. Actually it is your support that inspired me presenting this simple work. You keep visiting my stream and posting comments even when I’m not…some of you do much more, honestly offering their spiritual support in the form of sincere prayers and genuine advices to which I’m so much grateful. To you I say you’ve set wonderful examples about heartfelt human relations.

 

But friendship is not always so positive! It is a thorny way or say a minefield we unknowingly pass through sometimes until we’re shocked. Examples are there and times are many when we call people friends, putting trust in them, but sooner or later we are disappointed finding out that they’re not like what we thought or wished them to be. I believe that true friends are hard to find and when found are worthy of all efforts to keep.

 

As with my recent uploads, I love to share with you some quotes/sayings. I used to put a “lol” beside mine just as another way of saying “I’m a simple person and by putting my quotes beside others’ I don’t mean to show off” but I was advised against the “lol” by my dear friend Professor Bob who believed that quotes were made to ponder upon and not to laugh at…he’s right.

NB: I thought of listing names but I was astonished at how big the list became…happy to have such wonderful friends. My sincere gratitude is to ALL OF YOU my WONDERFUL FLICKR FRIENDS.

 

To you my dear Val (pearceval) , I say a special thanks for not forgetting me even when you’re away, so busy and not posting!!!
