Agrellite, Albite with Thorite coating under SW UV rays
Fluorescence of Agrellite (pink) and Albite (carmine) mineral with a coating of thorite (green) under shortwave ultraviolet (UVC) rays from LF-104.S filtered low pressure mercury vapor lamp. The quantity of thorite is very small and this mineral specimen does not produce enough ionizing radiation to be detected above background radiation with an ordinary geiger counter. The thorite coating is on the top left (brownish color) of the mineral in daylight on top right image.
