Aluminium dust & oxygen
Aluminium dust flares up vigorously when thrown into the flame of burning oxy-propane, which is extremely hot, forming aluminium oxide and little nitride. Aluminium dust (at least not with my sample) did not burn readily when thrown into aerated Bunsen flame.
