OTTER LAKE, TULAMEEN, B.C. AMAZING REFLECTIONS..

It has been said that the lake is 'turning over'....A term used when the ice sinks to the bottom of the lake and the lake water 'turns over' and becomes the lake we know in spring summer and autumn. The ice on otter lake is usually 2 to 3 feet thick...It was used for ice boxes and refrigerator cars 100 years ago for it's clarity and excellent taste.. After the ice sinks, (Usually the way for otter lake), they say many huge fish are either seen or caught....Until the lake 'turns over'. This lake is 90 feet deep in the center. I think the lake was 'turning over' the morning i took these photos.
