Whiting, IN fire

Taken almost 5 years ago when I was visiting some of the fire fighters I know.

This was before the threat of Whiting's fire dept merging with Hammond.

 

I learned earlier this week that they will not be merging thanks to Hammond's mayor deciding to lay off some of their own firemen.
