Distilled Portugal in Panjim

The photo you see here was taken in the middle of Panjim, capital of Goa. The Portuguese influence can be spotted everywhere, also in the architecture of this building. No wonder since Portugal held Goa as a colony from 1510 until 1961, when India took it after a two days long war against Portugal. But Goa did not become an official Indian state until 1987!
