Old-Fishing-Trawlers

The remains of fishing trawlers from the Fleetwood fishing fleet dumped due to EU regulations reducing the fishing quotas to the UK fleets decades ago.

I wanted to get an LE shot of the wrecks on Fleetwood Marsh with water around them.

This is approx 100m out on the marsh I initially looked at low tide to work out the best way to, my location, and get around the many muddy trenches some too wide to jump over.

Then decided to have a go on a rising tide so I could see my way out managed to get three shots but tide came in so fast could not risk putting on a 10 stop filter as water half way up wellies returned to shore tripod a handy walking stick.

Decided to wait around for the ebb tide and started going out but not easy to see the trenches and tide ebbed very quickly for a decent LE.

The photo above was on the rising tide.

If you want to give it a go take real care on the marsh the vegetation stops you from slipping but not recomended to go into a trench you will find it difficult to get out tidal range on the day 10m to 0.4m.
