Princess Dora Birthday Cake

This was the birthday cake for a client's 3 year old Princess. She is obsessed with Dora (as apparently are all young girls) so I found one on Ebay (whew). Originally design from a book I have and then altered with so many bits and bobs from various other castle cakes I have seen in my travels around the Flickr-verse.

 

Chocolate cake with hazelnut chocolate ganache filling and vanilla IMBC under the fondant. Turrets were made from gumpaste.
