The Vale Peaks "Explored" Thankyou
Pewsey Vale early morning mist. out with a fellow flickr,r (Phil Selby)we had stopped at Avebury but the sunrise wasn't right, there seemed to be a bit of mist about so we moved on to this location.
This and the other posts were some of the first shots i took, we should have been there earlier as the sun was rising fast.
i took loads of images but the sun being to strong they have mostly been dumped in the bin. not a wasted morning but timing as ever is everything 30 minutes earlier i won,t go on but if only.
We did return wednesday morning having seen an earlier forecast for more of the same. but it wasn't to be the sun came up into low cloud not to be seen again. still a wonderful location and a real treat to see the valley floor shrouded in mist. a beautiful site.
