Beefeater

The casual stance of this Yeoman of the Guard I find slightly amusing he represents the oldest military group in the kingdom being formed in 1485 . He is one of 35 warders and one Chief Warder who's duty is to guard any prisoners at the Tower and the British Crown Jewels . There duties in more recent time is to act as tour guides and are an attraction in their own right . His official title is Yeoman warder of Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress the Tower of London , and a Member of the Sovereign's Body Guard of the Yeoman Guard Extraordinary popularly known as Beefeaters .
