Roman implements

From clay ink pots ( right foreground ) alongside an elegantly decorated quill box to surgical instruments including an amputation saw ( mid table ) and various terracotta pots and flasks for herbal medications . Surprisingly a number of those surgical tools would be identical to the ones used today .
