Joining Waters in the Gorge
This is Cheeseman Run flowing into the Slippery Rock Creek in the Gorge at McConnell's Mill State Park. Hadn't been down the trail to the bottom of this gorge since last year. Was in search of the Purple Trillion flowers which are usually close to this spot but didn't see any. Not even the white ones. Don't think I missed them but maybe it was too soon. Lot of felled trees along the trail from Eckert Bridge. The road is gated from the top of the hill by Breakneck Bridge but hopefully until Memorial Day. The road looked OK. Great new guard rail a few years ago but the road hasn't been maintained for probably 25-30 years.
