JAMES GREENACRE - Executed at Newgate, 2nd of May, 1837, for murdering and mutilating a Woman

 

James Greenacre, along with his lover Sarah Gale, murdered James' wifeHannah Browne in the Edgeware Road in 1837. Her dismembered body was found scattered around London.

 

Sarah Gale was deported; James Greenacre hanged.
