St Mary's Church, Walpole. Suffolk

The church of St Mary's in Walpole occupies an early site and the South wall is very ancient. The quoins South East of the Nave and PIlasters North and South of the Chancel are Saxon. The South door is 12th Century Norman and there is a scratch sundial in the east corner of the porch. The windows are Victorian as are the spire and the North aisle.
