WW1 commemoration, Sele, Hexham

The Sele is a large public area situated next to the Abbey in Hexham. On these gates are two plaques.

The left hand one says that the arch was presented to the town to commemorate the services of the 4th Northumberland Fusiliers in France and Belgium during the war from 1915 to 1918.

THe right hand one details all the battles they fought in.
