Hawaiian Golden Batter Cod

Okay, let’s recap. This recipe has a little bit of everything: some chunks of fish and chips; a few dollops of chow mein; one or two splashes of fruit salad; all served awkwardly and wastefully in half a pineapple. There’s also cornstarch. We’ve got an idea: if the Rupert Brand people give us a trip to Hawaii, we’ll try this dish.
