WTF???

I've heard people talk about nail polish shrinking, but I had no idea what they meant. Well, now I think I know. I scratched this nail while I was in the shower, so I thought, "Oh, no worries, I'll cover it up with an extra coat of polish and Seche." Look what happened! The polish shrunk up from the tip of my nail quite a bit... It was VERY noticeable.

 

I'm afraid it was the Seche that shrank... I had added a few drops of polish thinner to it yesterday since it was getting really goopy; could that be the cause of this?
