A pre-WW1 advert for one of the products of the famous company of Chivers', whose main base was at Histon near Cambridge in the 'Orchard Factory'. Chivers were pioneers in the field of commercial fruit preparation, canning and packing - the company were sold to Schweppes in the 1960s and so the brand has vanished into the many guises of Premier Foods.
