Condensed Didot & an Egyptian from Germany : Grosvenor Chater advert - from Typography 3, 1937

A spread from wonderful Typography magazine, this being issue 3 from 1937, showing some then new continental fonts - a Condensed Didot from Deberny et Peignot, and 'City' by George Trump from the German Berthold Typefoundry. The advert is for the manufacturers of Basingwerk Parchment printing paper, Grosvenor Chater. The periodical, printed at the Shenval Press and edited by Robert Harling, is a thing of beauty.
