The covers to the Summer 1970 and Winter 1970/71 Provincial bus timetable booklets issued by CIÉ - Córas Iompair Éireann - the Irish state transport authority. For the few years during the late 1960s and early '70s CIÉ used some bold graphics for their timetable covers often using the same design but with different colourways for the summer and winter issues.
These for 1968/69 may be the first in the series and the winter 1968/69 appears to the first time that both the Irish and English language titles have appeared. It does appear that the designer struggled somewhat to place all the new relevant text as, although still an interesting design, the Winter version of the cover is a little more cluttered than the visually very clean, to my eye, Summer version.
