Concrete Utilities street lighting column and bracket, mercury lantern - School Green Lane, North Weald, Essex

The Epping Forest District of Essex still had, until comparatively recently, some very elderly examples of street lighting including this in North Weald. A few of these Concrete Utilities "Utility" columns and brackets survive locally but only a couple still sported working mercury vapour lanterns, still working in 2018.
