Humour - press advert issued by Bass, 1924

A rather fine and simple line drawing for a Bass beer and ales advert issued in 1924. The advert includes the famous 'red triangle' trademark that Bass used for many years and that was the UK's first registered trademark as they'd made sure they were first in line on 1 January 1876 when trademarks were first legally recognised! The figures shown are very 'flapper' style and show Bass were aiming to get their name over to newer and more contemporary markets.
