A towpath walk between Marsden and Slaithwaite along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. Bridge 48, the lock gates and the water escape - a landscape of stone dating back to 1811. the canal closed to navigation in 1944 but after an amazing campaign and much work was reopened in 2001.
