An interesting 1946 booklet on road signs and designs that discusses the then recent 1944 official report on British road signs. A blurred illustration but it shows, somewhere in west London, of the 'approved' repeater sign for the A4.
The charming cover, replete with various road and traffic signs, was by Brian Davies - the booklet issued by the British Road Federation was designed by the Astral Arts Group - and rather has the look of contemporary Adprint booklets.
