Ferodo brake linings - advert, 1956
Ferodo, based in Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire, made car components such as clutch and brake linings - from the then 'wonder' material of asbestos (they formed part of Turner Newall of Rochdale).
I like this advert though because of the street furniture they use - especially the old style Electro-matic/Plessey style traffic signal.
