Old Snow Hill, Birmingham, UK - station and street lights - c1970
My apologies re; copyright on this - I found it a long time ago on a webpage of old Brum photos but the link has vanished/died - if anyone can id the source I'd be grateful.
It shows the view looking north after the main road had been shifted east to the far right of the picture leaving the old Snow Hill as an access to a car park that stayed there for years. It used to fascinate me as this was the view from the 15/16 bus home - the old station and the old streetlamps (very Birmingham on old tram poles) hung on decaying for a long time.
Lady W has a shot looking the other way after the final tidy up - mind, it has been 'redeveloped' again now, oh dear, I'm getting old!
