Manchester Corporation Transport - Ringway Airport bus ticket, c1955

The days of municipal transport to the municipal airport - Manchester still owns its airport but the days of its bus department have long gone. The ticket - three shillings and six pence - was for the dedicated bus service linking the city centre that was for many years run by 'special' one and half 'decker buses in a blue livery, not Manchester's usual red.
