Edinburgh Corporation Transport - 1950s style bus blinds - 'Part Route'
During the late 1950s and early 1960s Edinburgh Corporation Transport changed both the lettering style of their number blinds (from this very blocky and narrow face to a more modern serif) and the intermediate blinds away from this two line layout to a three line, six name version. I must have picked these blinds up during my bus preservation years in Edinburgh in the mid-1970s and I do like the lettering. This is the famous Edinburgh blind for 'part route'.
