Down by the water
Pentacon Six #8
Caley Mill, home of Norfolk Lavender.
I needed an excuse to try out my Mir 3 65mm f3.5, on my Pentacon Six, after I'd given its aperture actuation mechanism a damn good fettling.
To compare and contrast, some shots were taken with a Biometar 80mm f2.8.
The P6 was loaded with Velvia 100f, metering was with a Leningrad 4, and Genie Imaging were used to develop and scan the roll.
This was shot with the Mir 3: the tones are slightly warmer and the highlights are more controlled than with the Biometar. For the same exposure settings the Mir underexposes compared to the Biometar, but produces more accurate results from the figures given by the Leningrad 4.
