Beijing- Temple of Heaven: Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests

Completely built of wood without nails, the triple-gabled circular building, 36 m (118 ft) wide and 38 m (125 ft) high was for emperor to pray for good harvest twice a year. It sits atop a huge round white marble platform named Altar for Grain Prayers.
