And it begins... Day 1 of our Mini Tewer happened to fall on Halloween, and the boys did not disappoint. When I asked Dave earlier where his costume was he said waiting for him in the back... and when they walked onstage and lip synched (badly) to Afternoon Delight, well we all LOST it. Monty's fake sideburns were hysterical, Nick was a dead ringer for Steve Carrell and while D kept saying that Daniel was a doppleganger for Serpico, the majority of us agreesdthat in the dark lighting of the club it was almost as if Andy P Skib had returned to the fold. Dave could NOT keep a straight face (or his mustache) and the wig lasted a hot minute before it became nothing more than a pile of 'road kill' on the stage. It was hot, sweaty and late... with the boys taking the stage at 11:00 pm. But it ROCKED!!! And left us all anticipating the week to come.
