A seahorse?

These fiberglass horses can be found all over the Outer Banks - along with the small, wild horses that still roam some of the islands. :-) (more info on the wild horses: www.coastalguide.com/packet/thecorollawildhorses.shtml)

The fiberglass ones were put into various public places in celebration of the Centennial of the Wright Brothers' First Flight at Kitty Hawk, Dec. 17, 1903.

This one is on the school house roof on Ocracoke Island.
