The Baliff's House

The topmost house in a row of 17th century houses on Church Street South Old Glossop. This was the home of the Baliff who was responsible for managing the Glossop Estate for the Howard family.

 

In the mid 19th century it was a Catholic girls school before All Saints School was built. Then in the 20th century it was a butcher's shop.
