One of China's many treasures, this complex of wooden buildings was built for religious purposes in the 14th century.
I was very lucky to have spent the last two weeks exploring China. Very interesting sightseeing and a peak into the Chinese culture. Just having arrived back in Canada, I can finally enjoy a breath of clean air and an unblocked Internet connection. There is no access to Flickr, Facebook, Google, Google Maps, Instagram, CNN or CBC and many others. But we met many wonderful people and admired the accomplishments of the Chinese over their long history. Hopefully they will put their considerable resources against cleaning up the environment which was truly sad to experience. Heavy smog everywhere we went.
