Talk about hypocrisy. Texas routinely complains about governmental overreach in California.... So, let's talk about an unconstitutional abortion ban, depriving local officials of the means to control outbreaks of COVID, voter suppression, attempting overturn a presidential election, racial gerrymandering, and now a bill to ban 850 books that might make straight, white people "uncomfortable." That last one is about as authoritarian and snowflaky as it gets.
As Stephen Colbert said, "reality has a well-known liberal bias."
Deal with it. Our history isn't (to use a word MAGA Republicans will understand) lily white and perfect. We haven't always been "the good guy." We have a history of brutally suppressing people of color, women and the LGBTQ community. Well, guess what? They are also also people who were created equal.
Oh, yeah, and then there's Ted Cruz escaping to Mexico while the rest of the State suffered under a historic freeze that caused an ill-maintained "independent" electrical grid to collapse, and then blaming AOC for the incompetence of the State government. Hope you enjoyed the Mariachi band they sent you.
