IMG_2532_Faced Black Butte jasper
Some faced, self-collected rough. This material has beautiful patterns, but also lots of incompletely healed fractures, pits, voids and soft spots. Since I prefer to make freeforms, and am open to unanticipated outcomes, I do like it. I need to have a few more slabs cut, and cab it up.
