Quetzalcoatl and Jesus. I did learn in a Native American studies class that there was a prophecy of Quetzalcoatl's appearance in an alternate form -- that of a bearded man. Some (Native Americans) have said this could be Jesus. Others have said that it predicted the coming of the Conquistadors. I'm certain that both of these are controversial.
Some consider Quetzalcoatl's serpent form (sometimes feathered or winged) a dragon.
