Looking for Prey
This is the same American Red Tailed Hawk that I posted a few days ago. It is looking intently at a flock of crows in a tree about ¼ of a mile away. Apparently, like my dad, this hawk is a native of Jamaica, hence its Latin name Buteo jamaicensis. Like a lot of Jamaicans it is extremely fast, reaching 120 mph in a dive, but does it like Reggae too. In the original size I can see an outline of my reflection in the eye of this bird.
