Similar to Wood Blewit and Lepista sordida,

Cap, 12cm across, convex, becoming flatter, depressed and undulating, beige but drying paler,

Gills, Sinuate, crowded, whitsh or light beige with a pale pink spore print,

Stipe, To 10cm long, stout and cylindrical with a slightly swollen base, whitish ground covered in coarse violet or blue fibrils,

Habitat, Grassland in scrubby deciduous woodland, gardens and roadsides
